As the Clinical Billing & Insurance Coordinator I continue to leverage my expertise and knowledge to ensure our technicians can assist customers and facilities in a reliable and timely manner. Under my guidance and with the supervision of the Clinical Pharmacist I assist with the development of Clinical Services and their workflow in the pharmacy including data entry, verification, and billing or coverage. I am responsible for the billing of these services or items to insurance (if applicable); including Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance. I do this utilizing non-electronic insurance billing with CMS-1500 form or thru an EDI Clearinghouse (if available) and IDC-10 coding. I am also very familiar with HCPC and CPT coding and insurance reimbursement. As a Covid-19 Community Testing Partner I worked with our local Health Department and our local school district to test and help combat the spread of Covid-19. We also offer immunizations and other clinical services to serve our community that I am responsible for the coverage and reimbursement on. I also assist in the training of new hires and the daily activities of pharmacy students (KU School of Pharmacy) or Interns. I am responsible for maintaining in-house Patient accounts including utilizing a third-party to print and mail monthly statements; verifying and rebilling accounts, maintaining third-party auto-charge system and assisting customers or commercial accounts with questions and problems. I also maintain AR accounts including tracking, verifying and reconciling insurance payments, or Third-Party Payments. I am responsible for responding to any and all audits presented to the pharmacy including Medicare, Medicaid and commercial Audits. I also maintain provider access for many insurance's including Medicare Contractors as well as making sure our policies and procedures are compliant with CMS guidelines.

Caregiver, Always There Senior Care

As a caregiver, I provided compassionate in-home care services to seniors, so they can maintain their independence while living full lives. I wanted my clients to thrive every day. 

I worked closely with clients and their families to provide the support needed to maintain the highest quality of life possible for their loved one. I worked hard to create an atmosphere of comfort and safety while supporting seniors and their families through the challenges and changes that come with aging in place. I provided a wide range of services to support this goal including personal care, housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, medication reminders, laundry, transportation to appointments etc. and anything else required by the client or their family.

During my tenure as a Pharmacy intern at Target Pharmacy, I honed my skills in prescription entry, filling prescriptions, drug identification, pharmacy calculations, and troubleshooting issues. I served guests quickly and efficiently while also maintaining the pharmacy workflow. I also gained practical knowledge of inventory management and utilized the PDX pharmaceutical system for prescription management.

As a tax professional at Tiger Financial, I provided excellent service to all my clients. I prided myself on my ability to interact with customers from diverse cultures and backgrounds, and I even transformed 'difficult' customers into loyal, repeat guests. My approach is to always find win-win resolutions that work for everyone involved. Additionally, I was commended for my multitasking abilities and often worked independently at store locations. Having worked for Jackson Hewitt in Junction City, I worked in an off-site location, usually as the only employee present. Tribal Lottery Runner, Emerald Queen Casino

As a Tribal Lottery Runner, I understand the importance of being the primary customer contact. With my extensive experience of working on the casino floor, I was responsible for assisting in the removal of money from the machines and minor maintaining of the machines. I was required to hold a valid Class III gaming license issued by the Puyallup Tribe of Indians, and pass a very extensive background check. 

Construction Janitorial Cleaner, Emerald Construction Services

As a construction janitorial cleaner, I have over a decade of experience in cleaning New Construction homes, model homes, and apartments after the tenant move outs. I was responsible for managing a crew of 2 to 4 people, and being the point of contact for all concerns or issues with site supervisors or homeowners. Weather it was a multi-million dollar home custom home, or apartments, every client received a custom cleaning experience tailored to them.

Customer Service Associate, Old Navy

As a certified cash handler, I was responsible for opening or closing the store, preparing deposits, and making change orders. I also served as a cashier and Service Driver in the fitting room. My duties included putting merchandise back on the sales floor, answering phones, and assisting customers in any way possible. Additionally, certain aspects of new hire training fell under my responsibilities. I provided exceptional customer service and received Employee of the Month in recognition. At Famous Footwear, I bought my years of experience in retail sales to each customer interaction. With my knowledge of shoes and trends, I helped customers choose the perfect pair while making sure they have a positive shopping experience. Additionally, I was responsible for managing the cash register, ensuring transactions were processed quickly and accurately, and providing excellent customer service. My attention to detail and organizational skills allowed me to be a valuable asset in inventory management, and the daily upkeep of the store.

Janitorial Staff, Missoula Mortgage Company

I was responsible for the upkeep of a two-story office building. This included cleaning bathrooms, mopping and vacuuming offices, washing doors and windows, emptying garbage cans, and other basic office upkeep chores. I take pride in my work and ensured that the office space was always clean and presentable. This work was done outside of office hours so I was trusted to have unrestricted access to the building to accomplish the level of clean desired by the client.

As a cashier, I made sure to greet every customer with a smile and help them with any questions or concerns they may have. In addition to working the register, I would occasionally stock the displays in the store to ensure that the shelves were always full of fresh produce and groceries. I was always available to assist customers with their purchases and help them carry their groceries to their cars.

The Montana State Representatives rely on their team of pages to keep things moving efficiently. As a page for the MT House of State Representatives, I played a key role in the daily operations of The House of Representatives. From delivering messages and packages to creating agendas, I was always ready and willing to take on any task required of me. It's a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, but I thrived on the challenge and the satisfaction of knowing that I helped keep the daily operations of the House running smoothly.

Crew Member; Montana Conservation Corps

Montana Conservation Corps is a non-profit organization dedicated to conserving Montana’s valuable natural resources. As a crew member, I was responsible for actively preserving Montana’s wilderness and working to restore habitats damaged by wildfire, drought, or other natural disasters through hands-on training and hard work. Additionally, we volunteered with local environmental organizations and communities such as The National Forest Service, MUD and Garden City Harvest to promote conservation efforts in and around western Montana.

Office Assistant; Hellgate High School & Flagship After School Programs

My role as an office assistant at Hellgate High School and The Flagship Program involves ensuring the day-to-day operations run smoothly. I took care of managing various tasks such as locating students, delivering notes, filing documents, coordinating meetings, answering phones, cleaning the office, and directing visitors to the appropriate location. Additionally, I was responsible for handling program dues, writing receipts, calling to schedule volunteer work or getting transportation. With acute attention to detail, I completed all tasks given to me with a sense of urgency.
